The first artists studios were set-up in 2007 to utilise vacant shops along the 1st floor of Broadway, Bracknell after introductions of regional artists by the BFC Arts officer to Bracknell Regeneration Partnership. This area of the town is to be demolished as part of the planned regeneration and the use of vacant shops for artists studios was deemed to be a good short term use. The three founding members of ReOrsa shared one shop unit and it was this coming together that created all subsequent ReOrsa activities.
In 2011 we moved into our current studios thanks to the BRP who offered us the use of a larger vacant shop unit. The unit had formerly housed the Family Tree Nursery on the corner of Crossway and Broadway and has been converted by the artists into studio spaces as well as the exhibition space, Gallery@49.
At the end of May 2013 we move out to make way for the start of the long awaited regeneration of Bracknell town centre. Unfortunately there are no plans for further ReOrsa managed studio spaces or exhibitions in Bracknell.
